What does it really take?
Today I am going to talk about what it really takes to be a lawyer. Reason being is so that before you get totally involved in my Law Blog, I am trying to make sure this is really the career for you and what you really want to pursue and do the rest of your life, forever.
Not to scare you away or anything, because this is a very unfair world and we need all the fairness and support and sanity we can get.
First thing is first: Law School. Here are some videos of interviews of law students and their input on what law school is actually like.
These are videos of key factors and elements one must have to become successful in the law field.
I saved this video for last because the best always comes last. I like the way it describes the life a law student becoming a lawyer. It is very honest and cuts straight to the point. When I watched it, it gave me chills because it not only talks about factual information like the books you have to read, the classes you have to take, the things you can do to catch a good internship or the key points in nailing an interview at a high end law firm. It's about how a human, one person, develops a sense of obsessiveness as this career takes over your life for eight plus years. It's no joke.
This is what is REALLY takes to be a lawyer, a successful one that is.

SIDE NOTE
This blog is strictly videos because I have zero experience in law school etc. This can kind of give you a heads up on everything before hand. Meaning I am no lawyer, the best information is given from the experienced and wise.
Here's a good way to put it... Can you lick a stamp? Well can you lick 5,000 stamps? Well that is what law school is like. Loads and loads of information.
Looking forward to those who will continue to key into this and try to make the world a better place! (Not that everyone doesn't make the world a better place but where would this world be without the law?)
See you next time.
Let's work on inserting these videos into the blog so that it looks more professional. I would encourage you to explain the videos a little more and to cite them. Also, is there anyone else who can comment on these?
